Valentine's Day Cards

This resource consists of 16 printable Valentine’s Day cards in 8 different designs. Eight cards have sentence frames to complete on the back and eight cards have writing lines on the back. Sentence frames include:

I like being your friend because______________________.

I think you're cool because__________________________.

You are really great at______________________________.

You are a good friend because_______________________.

Print out two-sided. Cut in ¼’s, and you are ready to go! Students can color them, write compliments to each other and give them out to classmates.

Groundhog Day resources are now available! This product includes multiple activities suitable for multiple grade levels.

The interactive read aloud plan covers 3 days of plans with before, during, and after reading activities and comprehension questions.If you are only planning to read the book once, you can choose the discussion questions and activities that suit you best. Youtube has videos of the book being read aloud. This is helpful if you don't have access to the text.

The groundhog puppet can be printed out on card stock. Cut out and attach a
stick or straw. Use a flashlight to create his shadow. Students can explore how to make the shadow change sizes or trace the shadow.

There is also a match the animal to its shadow worksheet in both color and B&W.

Finally, there is a Venn diagram worksheet that includes phrases in a word box. Students can choose which ones are about Phil, which are about Shadow, and which ones apply to both. It can be done as a class for younger students. Print out as a poster or use chart paper. Read each phrase and have students decide where it belongs.
